Pastor James has achieved a new national title, this time to proclaim National Champion Hunting Tours, in the grand final held last weekend in Seville, in competitions organized by Sevilla 2006 - World Games, the vast international sports event that takes place these summer months with a high turnout and interest of people.
Almost three hundred shooters took part in the national championship, to contest a highly competitive final in which the predominant feature was the stifling heat that prevailed throughout the weekend and tested the physical fitness of athletes and the public that followed development of the test. Temperatures high enough to be placed without great difficulty to the already complicated routes that had been proposed. After the competition, the better, as it was in 2004, James Shepherd, with 175/200.
He won by just one point to the runners, they did and were 174/200 and Florencio Eguizábal Diego Lozano. As you see, could not have more excitement in this competition every year has more participants and reaches its maturity in the sport of hunting calendar RFEC.
In women prevailed once again, Beatriz Laparra in juniors, Jesus Gracia, Santiago Castillero veterans, and Josep superveteranos Lock. At the trophy presentation and closing of this championship in Seville 2006 World Games, were Justo Padilla Mayor Guillena, Andres Gutierrez, president of the RFEC, Eduardo Corcuera, director general for external relations office of Sevilla, M ª Dolores Boa, Deputy Mayor of the City Council and Deputy Guillena Seville 2006 World Games, Presidents of the autonomous federations and delegates to the Provincial Federations of hunting, besides the national delegate Hunting Tours, Francisco Asenjo Cumbreno and national coach Jose Manuel Jimenez Perea, commissioned to make known the names of those selected for the World Championship mode.
