The Maldives | Hunting Viewed from above, the Maldives unfold slowly in the form of small green spots surrounded by pure white and surrounded by sparkling blue.These islands are a pure marvel of nature and the feeling of discovering a place of beauty does not disappear when touching the ground. 
Geography aside, the Maldives is a chain of 1190 coral islands that form in the middle of the Indian Ocean archipelago of 860 km long and wide80 km.

Of all these islands only 200 are inhabited and the ocean which occupies almost 99% of the territory is home to more than 1,300 species of fish and corals making the Maldives one of the foremost maritime nations of the world and ... a paradise of the angler.

It Maldives fishing all year-except perhaps during the months of May to July months which correspond to the highest-monsoon and one can choose to fish in the east, west or south of the archipelago according to the prevailing winds at the time of stay.
