Prohibiting hunting and trading of wild animals
The Provincial Directorate of Environmental Policy and Natural Resources reminded the validity of provincial laws prohibiting the hunting of animals and urged to report the purchase and sale of wildlife.
The position of the entity under the Ministry of Production and the
Environment responded to the alarming situation caused by the increase
in trafficking (sale and purchase) of Jujuy fauna.
In this regard, it stressed that the only animals allowed as pets are dogs, cats and parrots with yellow or blue ring on one of his legs: This indicates that they are in good health.
