Stopped by placing steel ties for hunting in a hunting Aller

The man has been arrested for an offense relating to the protection of flora and fauna.

After learning that in the near Piñeres (Aller) were installing steel ties in areas of forest to capture species indiscriminately, the Civil Guard set up a device together with the Regional Child Care. About a quarter to eight am today was detected the presence of the man riding one of the ties.

The general hunting season in Valencia 2009-2010 opens tomorrow regulated by a decree of the Ministry of Environment, Water, Urbanism and Housing in establishing that between October 12 and December 6 hunting is allowed in the "common areas" (free brownfield) in this region.

According to Government sources, in Valencia there are more than 57,000 hunting licenses, of which more than 16,000 belong to the province of Castellón, about 13,000 to Alicante and over 28,000 in the province of Valencia.

Les Corts Valencianes today approved, by the single reading procedure, the reform of the Hunting Act, which legalizes the modality of "parany" with the votes for the PP, the PSPV and the Bloc, and opposition from members of Esquerra Unida (EU) and the Valencian Country Initiative.

After reading the Consell criterion, favorable to the reform proposed by the PP, Mariano Castejón popular deputy, has defended hunting this model as "traditional" and considering that several scientific reports will identify them as "selective and massive" .

The Regional Council of Extremadura Hunt has examined this morning the allegations and suggestions that various industry representatives have presented the text of the future Law on Hunting of Extremadura, and has given its approval to the draft.
