These small green spots are transformed into palm trees that undulate slowly
under the effect of the breeze, the pure white sandy beaches stretching as far
as the eye can see, the shades of blue water so clear that one can see fish in
the depths of the lagoon. Geography aside, the Maldives is a chain of 1190 coral
islands that form in the middle of the Indian Ocean archipelago of 860 km long
and wide 80 km.
Of all these islands only 200 are inhabited and the ocean which occupies almost
99% of the territory is home to more than 1,300 species of fish and corals
making the Maldives one of the foremost maritime nations of the world and ... a
paradise of the angler.Fishing on the Maldive Islands to the rear, spinning or

Among the species found there include: swordfish sailfish, blue marlin, black
and striped (the latter less abundant), yellowfin tuna, skip jack, bigeye and
teeth of dogs, wahoo, dolphin, jack (ignobilis and royal), carp red, jobfish
chicken or fish, barracuda, snappers, bonefish and other sharks and groupers.
And how not to insist on the jack which, here as in Madagascar, are the most
fantastic sport fish that are, especially if they are caught and that spinning
from the bottom in a crystalline water, they just stop with brutal race your
popper on the surface of the water.
Organization of the fisheries and housing
The boat on which you stay is a luxurious floating hotel that we charter for
you. It has a length of 24 meters and offers six air-conditioned cabins with
private bathroom, large dining room, spacious deck, interior and wood ...

And it provides that any fisherman research: the freedom to move at will and the
opportunity to discover each day new fishing places inaccessible virgin and
otherwise. So no doubt the ideal to discover the vast archipelago of the
Maldives and its many fishing areas, while enjoying the comfort of a boat very
well suited to this type of shipment. Fishing, our cruise is accompanied by a
traditional Maldivian boat (Dhoni) and two boats, 5 meters long, tailored to the
trollers, the palangrotte, spinning or fly.
Also note that the "fishing dhoni which will be made available to fishermen has
been built in 2003 and is particularly well suited to sport fishing: it is
equipped with outriggers, a seat fighter a center console allowing easy movement
and an awning to get out of the sun of the Maldives.
