9 days ago I was the last time at the Doses and visited a section which I had
paid a visit never before. Quite in the middle reaches located in the mixing
water route Teats, I wanted to try my luck. This was last winter demolished an
old weir and created a Sohlgleite. In addition, there are some curves, trees and
a rather loose fleet current. Thanks to Google Earth I was able to get an
overview of the water run over and give a superior tactics.
Now, at the end of
the Maifliegenzeit, I hoped further downstream still a slip of some brown trout
to the surface lures. In Teats crossed a bridge and just below the Doses it is
an interesting pool. Some Maifliegenspinner've been here over the water, but not
enough to trigger a rise in the early afternoon. I turn following the right bank
upstream from me.
