Bonefish Paradise
One can say that it bears its name because it is a real gift for all anglers.
Indeed, besides being the largest and oldest atoll in the world, Christmas
Island is currently the best place on earth to hunt down the bonefish. Flats of
funds firm, composed of coral and white sand stretch as far as the eye around
its huge lagoon with turquoise waters and with each new tide benches bonefish,
with sometimes hundreds of individuals entering these shoals in search of food.
In addition to their number, these fish reach impressive sizes here:
specimens of over 10lbs are not uncommon, and each season some happy fishermen
are coupled to monsters over 15lbs!Under normal conditions, the average catch is
15 to 20 bonefish per day for an inexperienced moucheur. A regular of fishing on
the flats can easily double this score! Christmas Island is more than just a

Accommodation
